Club news

Boxing Day Hash - The annual hash is going to take place over Rogate Common on Boxing Day. Please meet just before 10am, on the lane going from Hill Brow to Rogate, halfway down the hill to the north of Rogate, where there is a marked footpath (old timers, where we used to meet for the cross country).

Curry night! - at the Madhuban Liss on Wed 14th January 2015 after training.  Yes it is a change from our usual venue, all drinks to be bought separately at the bar. Email wpurchase@waitrose.com if you would like to come.

Excellent running from Liss Runners at the Farnham XC on a sunny 7th December! The men came 7th and ladies 12th giving us an overall placing of 10th - not bad in a very large and competitive field.

Cross-countrys - Dates for both the Southern Cross and Hampshire Leagues are now here. Next race details here.

Parkruns

The newish thing in running. Free organised runs from a few locations, each starting at 9am on a Saturday. Our local ones are: Alice Holt (talk to Stu) and Queen Elizabeth Country Park (talk to Marie). All are welcome. To take part you need to register on the parkrun website to get a bar code. Click on Alice Holt or QECP for each run.  They also are keen to have a list of potential marshals.

Newsletter: Make sure you send your results, articles and photos to Mark Watson for inclusion in the next newsletter (email markwatson).

Orienteering

Why not have a twist on your running and try using your brain as well as your legs and try orienteering. Southampton Orienteers have events for beginners. Click on Orienteering for more details. Tom is with Aldershot area club Southern Navigators.

Club Training Sessions: Make the most of our three sessions through the week. Click on training for more information.
