Tony Baker is 60!!!

 Tony Baker was a regular runner a few years back. He is celebrating his 60th at "Fusion-One" bar in Petersfield (opposite the Police Station, was called Foggies at one time) on Saturday evening of the 25th February 2012. He'd love to see any club members who knew him but everyone is welcome.

Curry night! - a good time was had by all after training on Wed 11th Jan (hard to believe but not all those at the curry had done the training session!):

Liss Runners Round of the "Todays Runner Cross Country League" 2011/12: Liss Runners look forward to welcoming runners to Rogate Common on the 19th February 2012. The race will start at 11am. Please click on Rogate Common Race for a race instruction sheet.

We need around 15 helpers to make sure the race runs smoothly. Any club members able and kindly willing to help out (needed from around 9.45 - 12.00) please add your name to the list on the club notice board or contact Tom direct.

London Marathon Guranteed places Well done to the winners of the raffle this year: Marie Appleton and Melissa Daniels. Better start working out your training plans!

Reservers are Yvonne McGarry and Stu Lavalette.

Don't forget there are plenty of other marathons apart for London.

Grayshott Gallop: Sunday 26th of February.  Meet at Tim's for a scenic run around the countryside followed by some excellent homemade soup.  Click here for details.

Hampshire league Cross Country 2011/2012: There is a few hardy Liss Runners who take part in these races, all on Saturday afternoons. The first race for the coming season is on Sat. 8th October near Winchester. Click on HantsXC for more information on this league and the race dates.
