Club AGM

Put Wed 22nd March 2017 in your diary!  There won't be any training that evening but please come to the AGM at the Triangle Centre 7pm, free food & drinks are provided and you can also pay your club subs (see below).

Club social

To replace the Dinner Dance of previous years we are having a new format this year.  Provisionally booked for Saturday 13th May at Fork Handles, Petersfield. Further details to be announced.

Club subscriptions

Subs have increased to £25 this year to cover the increase in affiliations which the club pays on behalf of its members.  You can either pay Rose directly at the AGM, on a Wed training session or by bank transfer (Rose will send an email with details).

Southern Cross Country

Liss Runners achieved an excellent 11th overall in the league out of a total of 23 clubs.  Well done to all runners who braved the weather and mud!

Harting Multi-Terrain Race

The planning for the 2017 edition will be starting soon. Provisonal date is Sunday 6th August 2017.

Parkruns

Free organised runs from a few locations, each starting at 9am on a Saturday. Our local ones are: Alice Holt (talk to Stu) and Queen Elizabeth Country Park (talk to Marie). All are welcome. To take part you need to register on the parkrun website to get a bar code. Click on Alice Holt or QECP for each run.  They also are keen to have a list of occasional helpers. Note: Liss Runners are taking over the running of both Alice Holt and QE Park ones for one week in the Autumn and are after helpers. If able to help out please contact Stuie.

Orienteering

Why not have a twist on your running and try using your brain as well as your legs and try orienteering. Southampton Orienteers have events for beginners. Click on Orienteering for more details. Tom is with Aldershot area club Southern Navigators.
