Arrangements for Club Activities Due to Social Distancing Precautions:
The club can now meet for all its regular training sessions with some restrictions on group numbers and social distancing precautions. To enable planning of groups and potential contact tracing all runners attending a session are required to register their intention to run using the Doodle polls circulated by email and Whatsapp.
Regular club runs such as the social runs and Sunday runs are restricted to 6 runners per group. If more than 6 then separate groups will be designated with different start times offset by 15 minutes from the previous group.
Wednesday training and torch runs may have unlimited runners with a designated trainer / leader. These sessions are run in a COVID secure environment in line with the recommendations of UK Athletics.
The club's risk assessment of these arrangements have introduced the following rules to minimise the risks associated with the spread of Covid-19:

Sunday Runs:**
Sunday runs start with a "social mile" run as a single group before the group divides into smaller groups of similar ability for the remainder of the run. All the routes are around 10 miles and are all on road. The routes feature a mix of topography but are generally "lumpy."
