Cross Country 2017/18

Tis' the season coming for cross counties. We are in two leagues: The speedy Hampshire cross country League and the more social but still competitive Southern Cross Country League. Please click on the above leagues for more details. The first races are 14th October and 8th October respectivley. Fly the flag (or is that vest!) for Liss! and they are great fun! Well done all who took part at Pamber. The next race is on Sun. 12th Nov. at QE Country Park. Details coming soon.

Harting MT Race: Sunday 6th August 2017

Evening Runs at QE Park

Kev has organised a series of evening runs on Tuesdays starting at 7pm at the Queen Elizabeth Park.  The routes are around 5-6 miles and the pace is relaxed.

Club Handicap Series

It's on again this year, many thanks to Derek. This year on the first Wednesday of the month starting from 5th April. Other dates: 3rd May, 7th June, 5th July, 2nd August and the 6th September. Trevor's Challenge

Well done to all runners who took part on 5th April and congratulations to Jake and Naomi (pictured) who were the mens and ladies winners. Full results here.


Free organised runs from a few locations, each starting at 9am on a Saturday. Our local ones are: Alice Holt and Queen Elizabeth Country Park. To take part you need to register on the parkrun website to get a bar code. Click on Alice Holt or QECP for each run. Our club members regularly take part in a variety of different Parkruns but we try to get as many Liss Runners as possible at the following:

19 August – Winchester

23 September – Rushmoor

28 October – Havant

18 November – Whiteley

15 December - Lakeside
