What's on the menu

Every run is training, even if you're taking it easy.  So don't be put off that training is all hard graft and sweat.  We have a number of sessions taking place, some regularly throughout the year and some seasonal.  There's something for everyone.

Where practical, club activities will be lead by a club member who has been accredited with the English Athletics Leadership in Running Fitness (LiRF) qualification.  All members attending a club session have an obligation to listen to and follow instructions of the LiRF session leader.  This also includes making the session leader aware of any medical issues, potential risks or other matters that may impact the effectiveness and safety of the session.

It may not be possible to have an LiRF leader for all sessions.  Activities such as the Sunday long run and pub runs are un-coached sessions.  However, LiRF leaders may be attending as particiapants.

Club activities are goverened by our policies for both session leaders and attendees.
