Wednesday Interval Training

Intervals are an important part of training and improving as a runner.  It builds both speed and strength.  It's not just for speed demons and all out racers, it's for all runners and abilities.  No one is too slow for intervals, it's very inclusive.

Our interval sessions are led by club trainers and take place on the local estate in winter and around various locations in Liss and Petersfield in summer.  Session includes about 1 mile warm-up, approximately 30 mins of intensity then group stretching and warm down.  The lead trainer is support by a further trainer (named in brackets) to ensure the wellbeing of all runners.

Trainers hold the Leadership in Running Fitness (LiRF) accreditation from England Athletics.

The venue and trainer is announced weekly by email and in the main Liss Runners WhatsApp group.
