A classic relay race over the entire 100 miles South Downs Way.

The race usually taking place on the 1st Saturday in June.  The race starts at Beachy Head, racing westwards to finish at Chilcomb just to the east of Winchester.

It's a great team event made up of 6 runners and a driver and is a superb day out.  We currently have a ladies and men's team place.

Some 60 teams compete from clubs along the length of the South Downs. Racing is always good natured and friendly rivalry.  With a staggered start based on estimated completion time, the teams aim to get to Chilcomb around 8pm.
