Sunday Long Run

Sunday is traditionally the day for the slow(er), long(er) run (SLR).  Together with some speed work, such as Wednesday intervals or track session, this is a stable of the training cycle.

Many members meet up on Sunday morning for a run together.  The Sunday long run starts with a "social mile" run all together before the group divides into smaller groups of similar ability for the remainder of the run.

Details of the route and meet up point will be communicated in the Liss Runners Sundayers WhatsApp group.  All routes are run on road but are unlikely to take place when the club are participating in HRRL and SCCL races.

The SLR is an un-coached session and therefore may not have a LiRF qualified leader in attendance.
